Being your own hero doesn’t mean doing it alone.

Free Resources from Holly
I created the following videos to be used whenever you may need to create some space between your thoughts. You may wish to listen to these videos in a space where you are able to close your eyes and remain undisturbed. All you need to do is follow along with the sound of my voice and you cannot do this process wrong. The more you workout, the stronger your mental muscles get!
The HeartMath Experience
A beautiful video series with practical and effective tools for preventing and releasing stressful attitudes and feelings, and for connecting with your heart’s intuitive directions for the best choices in whatever your life situation calls for.
You will learn how to activate heart qualities of love, kindness and compassion to help enhance your immune system, health and self-security.
I love how these practices can be used to self regulate and they tie beautiful into what I teach and coach.
Positive Intelligence
Shirzad Chamine has worked with 100s of CEOs and their teams to help them achieve sustainable growth and happiness.
I am training with the Positive Intelligence team to become a PQ certified coach. Mental Fitness really is the X-Factor that is missing from traditional personal development programs.

The Holistic Psychologist
LumosTransforms
Our approach to change is Lumos: the capacity to consistently access inner safety, to embrace the process of deep transformation, and to light the way towards a thriving future.
InsightTimer
Meditation isn’t just for monks and mystics.
Artist Morning
Holistic Trauma Healing Podcast
Nicole LaPera has over 3 million followers on Instagram and for a good reason. A traditionally trained psychologist that has left private practice to empower self-healing practices, she embodies the idea of taking responsibility for our own health and wellbeing. Follow Nicole as she normalizes what has been defined as mental illness and offers resources to heal and grow.
I watched a talk with LumosTransforms founder Nkem Ndefo (she/her) in October and was drawn to her passion for making self-regulation and resilience an accessible resource.
They are currently offering free online workshops called Anchoring Resilience for Turbulent Times. I took away a lot about how to become more aware of my own stress levels and how to self-manage.
You can sign up for the workshop here or check out their resources and website here
So you want to start meditating? Listening to calm soothing music? Take in some talks that aren’t the news or business related?
InsightTimer is a free app available on desktop, mobile, or tablet with a wealth of free resources.
If you don’t know where to start, it can offer you suggestions! You can also join my circle by searching for “Be Your Own Hero with Holly” once you are signed up and logged in.
Ever wanted to start meditating and journaling but just not able to get in the habit on your own?
Join this great little community of artists, creators, and humans where we do exactly that.
Hosted by Darius Bashar, he hosts guided meditations with space for meditation, journaling, and connection. It’s that simple. I’ve been going since May 2020 and it’s just such a lovely little slice of the internet to hang out in.

Join host Lindsey Lockett as she shares her own holistic trauma healing journey and conversations, tools, and resources so you too can begin to heal yourself once and for all.
So you want to start working out at home?
I started working out with my WiiFit and my PS3 back in 2009. Working out at home is cheap, easy, and super comfortable…because guess what? No one’s watching! Or if they are, aren’t you a little inspiration?
FitnessBlender
Kelly and Daniel are a husband-wife team from Seattle that I have been working out with online for years.
They have so many free workouts on their website and YouTube channel for all different levels. Plus, there is no background music so you can choose your own tunes!
If you need some structure and accountability, they offer low-cost programs and nutrition guidance as well.

YouTube Videos
Seriously. There is no excuse to not workout as long as you have an internet connection and know how to use YouTube! (I know, I know…those saboteurs are nasty and deciding which video when there are SO many is hard!)
Some of my favourites:
LesMills OnDemand
This one isn’t exactly free, but they do offer a free trial.
I love BodyCombat, BodyPump, BodyAttack and many of the other workouts this company creates and the music is kickass.
They really give the fun and atmosphere of a group class when most of us can’t be in group classes right now.
They do have some freebies to try and a really active Facebook community if you are looking for additional support!
